Joe Belfiore ผู้บริหารฝ่ายระบบปฏิบัติการของไมโครซอฟท์ ก็เปิดเผยผ่านทางทวิตเตอร์ @joebelfiore ว่าอุปกรณ์ที่มีแรม 512MB จะได้ Windows 10 for phones แน่ แต่อาจไม่รองรับฟีเจอร์ทั้งหมด โดยเน้นว่า Lumia 520 เองก็จะได้ Windows 10 for phones เช่นกัน
นอกจากนี้ Joe ยังบอกใบ้ว่า Windows 10 for phones Technical Preview คงจะยังไม่มาในเร็วๆ นี้ แต่จะมาในเดือน "กุมภาพันธ์" อย่างที่เคยสัญญาไว้แน่นอน
เมื่อรวมกับรายชื่อ Lumia ที่ทางไมโครซอฟท์ได้เปิดเผยมาก่อนหน้า ว่ามีสิทธิ์จะได้อัพเกรดเป็น Windows 10 เท่ากับว่าในปัจจุบันมี Lumia ทั้งหมด 4 รุ่นที่มีโอกาสจะได้อัพเกรดแน่ๆ คือรุ่น 435, 735, 930 และ 520 ครับ
