ปัจจุบัน.. MaxMeyer ได้ถูก take over โดย PPG บริษัทสี จากอเมริกา
แต่จากการ สอบถาม ไปที่ ตัวแทนในประเทศไทย และ ติดต่อไปยัง PPG เองโดยตรง
จึงทราบได้ว่า ทาง PPG ไม่ได้ ทำการผลิตสี ซึ่งเป็น Code ของ MaxMeyer ขึ้นมาใหม่..

ตัวแทนจำหน่ายของสี MaxMeyer ยังคงมีอยู่ในบางประเทศใน "ยุโรป" ครับ
แต่ไม่ใช่ว่า ทุกร้าน จะมี "สูตรดั้งเดิม" ของ Vespa นะครับ..

สิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุด คือ "แม่สีหลัก" หรือ Base coat ที่เป็น สูตรเฉพาะ ของ MaxMeyer เอง
เพราะ Code สี ของ Vespa ในแต่ละ model เกิดจากการ "ผสมสี" จาก Base coat หลายๆสีครับ..

สีที่เป็น "เอกลักษณ์" ของ Vespa ตั้งแต่ "ยุคแรก" สืบเนื่องมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน ก็คือ "สีเขียวเมทัลลิก"

หลังจากที่ Vespa 98 ที่ออกจำหน่ายในปี 1946 - 1947 ได้เลือกใช้ "สีเทา"
สี "Metallic Green" ได้ถูกนำมาใช้ครั้งแรก กับ Vespa 125 ในปี 1948

Fender light หรือ แฮนด์แป๊บตะเกียงล่าง ที่เป็น "สีเขียวเมทัลลิก" นั้น จะมี 2 แบบ..
ตามไลน์การผลิตตัวถัง ที่เห็นชัดเจนที่สุด คือ "แนวตะเข็บ" บนตัวถังของรถ ปี '49 ซึ่งรถ ปี '51 จะไม่มี

Code สีของ ปี '49 (V1 - V15) จะเป็น 6000M ที่ "ผม" ดูแล้วจะออกเป็น "สีเขียวทอง"
ส่วนของปี '51 หรือ รหัสตัวถังเป็น V30 - V33 จะใช้สี Code 6002M ที่จะเป็น "เขียวเข้ม" กว่า..

แต่ทั้ง 2 Code นี้.. ต้องผสมมาจาก Base Coat ของ MaxMeyer หลายสีมากครับ..

ผมเตรียมสี Code 6000M นี้ไว้ สำหรับ "Douglas" ซึ่งได้นำเอา ตัวถัง V13 ปี '49 มาจาก Piaggio
เพื่อมาประกอบเป็น Douglas "Rod" model ในปี 1951 ครับ..

สีกระป๋องนี้ สำหรับ '51 ของ "น้องชาย" อีกคนนึง.. ดีใจครับ ที่ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่ง ของรถคันนี้..

ลองดู.. แต่ละสี ที่เค้าผสมลงไปซิครับ มีทั้ง เทา ขาว ดำ เขียว เหลือง แดง..

ใช่เลยครับ.. ตอนนี้.. กำลัง "up grade" กันใหม่ ทุกระบบ ทั้ง body, engine, suspension, brake, etc.

site ตัวนี้ ผมเคยเห็นเมื่อนานมากเหมือนกันครับ ร้าน รถBMW ย่าน บางขุนพรหม แต่ที่แน่ๆ ถ้าไม่ผิดตัวก็เป้น site แท้ แน่นอน นำเข้าเลยนะ

ตลอดทั้ง "ไลน์การผลิต" ของ "Vespa Grand Sport" หรือ "GS150" ตั้งแต่ "VS1 - VS5"
สีที่ออกมาจากโรงงาน มีสีเดียวเท่านั้น คือ "MaxMeyer Metallic Gray 15005"
และ Code นี้ จะไม่ถูกนำไปใช้ กับ model อื่นๆ ของ Vespa อีกเลย..

Thinner, Hardener, Clear และ ที่ขาดไม่ได้เลย "สีรองพื้น" Code 10055M

เป็น "สีแดง" ที่อยู่ "ด้านใน"ของ "ตัวถัง" ของพวก "รถปีเก่า" ตั้งแต่ "แฮนด์แป๊บ จนถึง ห้าแปด" นั่นแหละครับ..
